ALHASSANE
Alhassane Camara was born and raised in Guinea, West Africa, but has lived in Stockholm for several years. In Guinea’s capital Conakry, he danced and choreographed in the Wassasso company, which has won several national competitions. He has also worked for many years as a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher in Senegal, Gambia and Guinea Bissau.
Nowadays he teaches and holds workshops in both Angolan dance (kizomba/semba) and West African dance around Sweden and in Europe. Alhassane is very popular for his teaching skills and his positive energy.
AGNES
A new talent in the kizomba scene and with more than 14 years of experience in partner dancing, Agnes is now pouring all her passion into developing both her own Kizomba skills and the skills of the Kizomba community. As a dancer she is known for being one of the most sensitive and skilled followers around, as well as having lots of personality. As an instructor she is known for her ability to explain abstract concepts in easily accessible ways, and for focusing equally on the followers and leaders in the classroom. She guides her students to develop all aspects of their dancing: connection, body awareness, technique, musicality, personality, attitude, with special focus on engaging their whole bodies and expressing themselves to the music.
